シンガポール植物園 The Learning Forest ; Botanic Gardens The Learning Forest

 

2017年に開設されたシンガポール植物園の中でも新しいエリア。園内の熱帯林を統合し，森林生態系を拡張させるように設計された。特に，湿性地とその生態系を観察，体験できることが特徴で，湿性林の回復も試みられている。190種の植物が記録され，うち29種は絶滅危惧種である。

The Learning Forest was constructed in 2017 in Singapore Botanic Gardens. It is designed to integrate with the Gardens' exsisting rainforest to form an enlarge forest habitat. Especially, Restoration of fresh water swamp forest is one of the features. Apploximately 190 plant species have been recorded in the Learning Forest, of which 29 are critically endangered.
