シンガポールの生物種数（日本，イギリスとの比較）Biodiversity in Singapore ; Comparison with in Japan and England

シンガポールの生物種数について，日本，イギリスと比較できる表を作成した。

3国の中では日本がもっとも面積が大きく，森林率も68％と高い。種数も多くの種類で日本が最も高く，全ての種類で固有種の割合も最も高い。しかし，爬虫類はシンガポールが140種と日本より大きく上回っている。なぜ，シンガポールの爬虫類の種類はこれだけ多様なのか，理由は分からない。しかし，隣国のインドネシア，マレーシアも爬虫類はそれぞれ514種，350種と他国よりもかなり種数が多く，地域として爬虫類の多様性が高いようだ。

The table above shows the comparison of organism species number among in Singapore, Japan and England. Japan has the largest land area and also the forest rate of 68% in land among three countries. The number of speceis in many organism group is the highest also in Japan. The rates of endemic speceis in Japan are also highest. However,  the species of reptiles in Singapore is highest among three countries.
